Hi, I’m Kurona
You can call me Kuro or Kuro Sensei! I’m a digital artist based in Tokyo, and my work draws heavily from anime and manga. My journey began at twelve, tracing manga panels and learning from series like Hunter x Hunter and Tokyo Ghoul. During the pandemic, I started creating original art, and that’s when I discovered how much joy there is in developing a style that truly feels like my own.
My art often gravitates toward darker aesthetics, reflecting intense personal emotions and visions. Through my work, I aim not only to express my own feelings but also to inspire others to explore their inner worlds and create authentically. I believe art doesn’t need to be perfect—it just needs to be yours.
My goal as an instructor is to help others experiment, practice, and gradually shape their unique style, all while enjoying the creative process.
Outside of art, I love playing guitar, skiing, diving, basketball, and traveling. I also have a particular fondness for bread—baguettes especially! I can communicate in Japanese, English, French, and Chinese, so don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to meet people who want to grow, experiment, and enjoy digital art together.
